The little things

The stuff that makes it ours

Every workspace lists its meeting rooms. These are the bits members actually tell their friends about.

Weekly

Free fruit, every Monday

Crates of it in the kitchens to start the week. Gone by lunchtime, every single time.

Anytime

The drinks fridge

The Soda Fountain: a fridge packed with ice cold cans, and members vote on what goes in it.

Fridays

Free beer Friday

Pick up a voucher and the first drink's on the house at Rocksalt or The Pilot. A good way to see the week out.

Monthly

Coffee mornings

Coffee and pastries on us, and no agenda beyond turning up and talking to someone you haven't met yet.

All year

Ice cream, then hot chocolate

When the sun's out the freezer fills up. When it isn't, it's hot chocolate and biscuits instead.

Monthly

Evening events

A Thursday night each month: AI Builders Club, pitch nights over pizza and beers, and whatever the building dreams up next.

Member perk

The Workshop Card

Discounts at independents around town: food, drink, fitness, gyms and hotels.

Regularly

Community events

Run with members and local businesses: workshops, clinics, talks and lunch and learns. Members teach, everyone learns something.

Every day

The sea at lunch

Sunny Sands is a ten-minute walk. Some meetings are better as beach walks.

Coming soon

Cake club

Every other month a local bakery brings in a spread, on us. Free cake for you, new fans for an independent.

Why a workstation

Working from home going stale? This is the fix.

A dedicated desk gives you the routine of an office and the flexibility of freelancing - a proper base in the middle of town, minus the commute to a city.

01

It's yours, always

Same desk every day. Leave your kit, pin up your notes, come back to it exactly as you left it.

02

Round-the-clock access

Your own fob means 24/7 entry - work to your own rhythm, not the building's.

03

Everything's included

WiFi, meeting rooms, printing, tea and coffee - one price, no surprise extras on the bill.

04

People, not just desks

239+ members - freelancers, agencies, charities and a bank. Events, clubs and a members' card for town.

In every price

No add-ons, no surprises

One number covers the lot. We don't meter the coffee or charge you for a printer code.

Superfast WiFi
Tea & coffee on tap
Printing
Quiet booths for calls
Kitchen on every floor
Showers
Bike storage
Events & coffee mornings
Manager on site most days
Workshop Card discounts

Business rates, utilities, cleaning and insurance are all in the price too. Meeting rooms are the only thing you pay for on top.

Good to know

Workstation questions, answered.

Is the desk actually mine, or do I share it?
It's yours and yours alone. Leave your monitor, keyboard and paperwork - nobody else uses it, and it's exactly as you left it when you're back.
What are the access hours?
Workstation members get 24/7 access with their own fob, 365 days a year. Come in at 6am or work till midnight - it's your call.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No - it's monthly and rolling, cancel with a month's notice. No joining fee either. Move up to a private office whenever your work grows.
Can I book meeting rooms?
Yes - three meeting rooms (up to 10 people) plus a soundproof podcast studio, bookable by the hour with live availability here. Members get a preferential rate.
Is there parking?
We've a deal with Harbour Arm car park - £5 per day, Monday to Friday. We'll sort your registration form when you join.
Can I come and see it first?
Please do - book a tour and we'll show you round, or drop in and say hello at 32-40 Tontine Street, Folkestone.
